“Fathers, don’t stir up anger in your children, but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” (Eph. 6:4 CSB).
Fathers may get upset and irritated with their children sometimes; and sometimes we as fathers upset and irritate other people. Discipline and correction are not something that is an enjoyable experience but at times it is needed and necessary. Just like our heavenly Father has to discipline and correct us to get us back on track, we too must do the same.
I'd like to say Happy Father's Day to my father Leonard E. Crawford Sr, who is now in the arms of his loving and heavenly Father. If it wasn't for you I don't know where I would be. Love you always Pop!

Confidence is defined as a feeling of self-assurance that comes from our appreciation of our God given abilities and qualities. We put confidence in the position of trust with another person, or we take confidence in them that we can tell our deepest secrets to. The Bible however does speak on our confidence, it says in “have no confidence in the flesh, but that of God, because when we begin to rely on the flesh that gets us into all kinds of trouble because we think that we are more than we really are.

And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins." (Luke 5:36-38 NIV).
When we made the commitment to give our lives to Jesus Christ, the slate was wiped clean. You no longer had to worry about things that you did in your past. God who is the justifier of us all says that once we accepted His Son into our hearts, then we are made into a new creature. The old things that we once knew and did are no more, as He see’s us as righteous because of the blood of Jesus. Not only is your plate cleaned, you were given a “fresh new start”, a new lease on life.

Sometimes we are called to do things that WE do not feel that we are capable of doing. We are sometimes put in positions where there may be someone else with more experience and knowledge then what we have, but somehow you are called. God who knows better will show you what it is you need to know and how to go about doing it, even if it means that your closest family and friends turn away from you.

To have a healthy and strong marriage, it requires total sacrifice from both parties. There is cooperation, nourishment, unification and prioritization. No one of these things are more important than the other as they should all go hand in hand. Husbands and wives are to be the example of what Christ has set for the church. They are to be subjective and understanding to each other. They should never allow the sun to go down upon their anger because tomorrow is not promised. Now we are all wise enough and have understanding to know that each are their own person with their own separate thought process, but when the time comes, they are to be as one.
