Noah in faith patiently waited forty days before he opened the hatch of the ark. But what if he hadn't waited. What if we would have gotten tired of staying locked up inside the ark, then what?

Hello again God’s beautiful people and welcome to another episode of 5iveMinutes, it’s the show that’s committed to bringing you uplifting and inspirational word to help you through those hard times.

A little bit about our ministry🕔

Here at #5iveMinutesofInspiration, our Mission is to go out and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations, and we do this by remembering the greatest commandant that Christ gave us. To love God with all of our heart, soul and mind. Then to love our neighbor as we would ourselves, with love, kindness and respect.

We love spending time with God and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and it is through these short videos that we find is the best way to express that love. Our theme Scripture comes from Mark 16:15-16 "Then He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."

God did not reveal His truth to us just so we can sit on the sideline. He called us to get into the game, to participate in the work of His kingdom. Are you ready to play? We will do all that we can to bring God's Word to you in the most uplifting and encouraging way possible. We pray that He will work in your lives and continue to provide you with His grace, mercy and love.

God bless,

One Love

This message like all others are dedicated to the memories of my father and mother, Leonard and Lillian Crawford who believed in the working power of God. They did not rest until I was underneath His covering. I am forever grateful for their prayers.

May God bless you in all areas of your life and I thank you for subscribing to this channel.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. - Matt. 28:19

To pause and take a break; to sit back, relax and think about it.  To ponder on something that provokes meditation.  The Hebrew word Selah is used a number of times in the Psalms and in the Book of Habakkuk.  And while its true meaning is a mystery, Biblical Scholars have come up with multiple meanings and explanations for the meaning of the word.

The word Selah is a Hebrew word that has been found at the ending of verses in Psalms and has been interpreted as an instruction calling for a break in the singing of the Psalm or it may mean "forever." An example of Selah is seeing the term used seventy-one times in the Psalms in the Hebrew Bible.

Be Wise

COVID 19 has us all on lock down away from other people, but we shouldn't allow this to control our very lives.

God wants you to know that there is a calm in the middle of the storm.  Trust in Him.

I pray that you all have a blessed week.

One Love,

"Make yourself an ark of gopher wood. Make rooms in the ark, and cover it with pitch inside and outside. This is how you are to make it: The ark will be 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. You are to make a roof, finishing the sides of the ark to within eighteen inches[d] of the roof. You are to put a door in the side of the ark. Make it with lower, middle, and upper decks." - Genesis 6:14-16 CSB.

There is only one way in which men can enter and enjoy the presence of God. Jesus Christ is the Door in which we come into His presence and He as the Door has certain qualities that makes it possible. He is a strong Door and His strength can resist any invader or foe, as He is the protector of the members of His fold.

The ark was a type or picture of Jesus Christ. Jesus is our refuge from judgment and eternal separation from God. It is clear that the ark symbolized to Noah and his family what Christ does for us.

There are conditions in which God’s people must follow in order to receive His blessings: (1) To humble themselves; (2) To Pray; (3) Seek His face; (4) And turn from their wicked ways.

When King Solomon finished building God’s temple in Jerusalem, he went and offered a prayer of dedication.  He prayed that he would lead his people the way God wanted him to lead them.  And after that prayer God’s glory suddenly filled the temple.

This is the hallmark passage in which God calls His people to pray, because it is prayer that gets God's attention like nothing else.  Prayer is our communication with Him, and we are to approach His throne with a humble state of mind.  This was the Lord's response to Solomon when he prayed for the people of Israel:

"If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14.

We must submit to the will of God as a country and turn back to Him in order for the healing to begin.

2 Peter 3:18 (ESV) tells us: But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.  But what does that mean?

We grow in grace by reading God's Word then applying it to our lives.  Growing in grace means the the Word "richly" dwells in you and that it causes you to live a life that is acceptable and pleasing to the Lord.  Growing in grace does not mean that it increases over time, but it confirms the growth that you have in Him.  Grace can not be extended any more than it already has been given, as it is infinite meaning that it there is no end to it.  The Scriptures contain all that you need to know about God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

In Matthew 11:28, There is a Great Invitation that comes from Jesus Christ to all that are weary and overcome with burdens. Those who are feeling so heavy that they find it impossible to move, they are ready to stop and collapse. He says that they should come to Him so that the things of the world that weighs them down like work, worldliness and the struggle with sin and guilt. He gives the answer, and rest is coming to Jesus Christ.

The year 2020 is here and with the coming of a new year the things of the past are obsolete.  As we step out of the old and into the new, do so with a brand new attitude, one that has been renewed by the Spirit of God.  Let the "old man" die off, and make way for the new creature that's in you through  Jesus Christ.

Hello again God's beautiful people and welcome to this episode of 5iveMinutes.  It's the show that's committed to bringing you uplifting and inspirational word to help you through those hard times.

Join us as we present the first episode of the year.  This is part one of a series that I interviewed my brother Gerald Crawford on New Years Day in which we talked about the coming year and the plans for it.  We hope that you enjoy the show.

We pray that you all have a blessed week.

A marathon runner must keep his focus during the entire race.  He must know at certain points during his race when to pick it up a bit, and when to ease off and allow his body and mind to catch up with one another.  If he goes out too fast then he will not have enough strength in the end to complete the race.  He must practice endurance.  He must know his body well.  He trains daily to remove the excess baggage that he is carrying so that when the time comes it will not hold him down.

The Christian runner must do the same thing as well, we must strip off the weight of sin that will hamper his progress.  He must practice daily in order to become patient, to build up his endurance, because this is a race for life, one that will last a long time.

Most people can talk a good game about how good they are and what they have done in their lives, until the time comes for them to prove it!

David was just a small young boy when he witnessed the words that Goliath was saying to the men of Israel.  He listened as the Philistine champion defied them with his speech.
