Whats Going On?

“These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.” – Matt. 15:8

 

In 1972 Marvin Gaye had a hit single titled “What’s going on?”  Because there was a lot that was happening in the world back them.  The central theme of Gaye’s song came from his own life in which his brother who was a Vietnam Veteran had some changes in his life after he returned.  The 1970s is when the hippie era began to grow and the realities of poverty grew with it.  Not only was there fighting overseas in Vietnam, there was fighting here in the streets of America as racial tensions were on high alert.  

 

Hello again God’s beautiful people and welcome to another episode of 5iveMinutes, it’s the show that’s committed to bringing you uplifting and inspirational word to help you through those hard times.

Here at #5iveMinutesofInspiration, our Mission is to go out and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations, and we do this by remembering the greatest commandant that Christ gave us. To love God with all of our heart, soul and mind. Then to love our neighbor as we would ourselves, with love, kindness and respect.

We love spending time with God and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and it is through these short videos that we find is the best way to express that love. Our theme Scripture comes from Mark 16:15-16 "Then He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."

God did not reveal His truth to us just so we can sit on the sideline. He called us to get into the game, to participate in the work of His kingdom. Are you ready to play? We will do all that we can to bring God's Word to you in the most uplifting and encouraging way possible. We pray that He will work in your lives and continue to provide you with His grace, mercy and love. ​
