2 Peter 3:18 (ESV) tells us: But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. But what does that mean?
We grow in grace by reading God's Word then applying it to our lives. Growing in grace means the the Word "richly" dwells in you and that it causes you to live a life that is acceptable and pleasing to the Lord. Growing in grace does not mean that it increases over time, but it confirms the growth that you have in Him. Grace can not be extended any more than it already has been given, as it is infinite meaning that it there is no end to it. The Scriptures contain all that you need to know about God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.
In Matthew 11:28, There is a Great Invitation that comes from Jesus Christ to all that are weary and overcome with burdens. Those who are feeling so heavy that they find it impossible to move, they are ready to stop and collapse. He says that they should come to Him so that the things of the world that weighs them down like work, worldliness and the struggle with sin and guilt. He gives the answer, and rest is coming to Jesus Christ.
Hello again God's beautiful people and welcome to another episode of 5iveMinutes. It's the show that is committed to bring you uplifting and inspirational word to help you through those hard times.
A little bit about our ministry🕔
Here at #5iveMinutesofInspiration, our Mission is to go out and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations, and we do this by remembering the greatest commandant that Christ gave us. To love God with all of our heart, soul and mind. Then to love our neighbor as we would ourselves, with love, kindness and respect.
We love spending time with God and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and it is through these short videos that we find is the best way to express that love. Our theme Scripture comes from Mark 16:15-16 "Then He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."
God did not reveal His truth to us just so we can sit on the sideline. He called us to get into the game, to participate in the work of His kingdom. Are you ready to play? We will do all that we can to bring God's Word to you in the most uplifting and encouraging way possible. We pray that He will work in your lives and continue to provide you with His grace, mercy and love.
God bless,
One Love
