“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd” (Matt. 9:36 KJV).
“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breath free; the wretched refuse of your teeming shore; send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door.” These are the words that are inscribed on the Statue of Liberty in New York City. Dedicated on Oct 28, 1886, the statue was one that called out to people all over the world, all nations no matter who they are and where they would come from, were welcomed to come to America. This meant that all people from all walks of life that wanted a better life, a free life, one that took them away from the oppression of their former countries, could come in with the promise of life, liberty and justice. The Statue of Liberty stands as a symbol universal freedom. Freedom to all, not some!

This track was written and recorded by 5iveMinutes at 5iveMinutes Studios. It was written because of what God placed on my heart this week. If we say that we have love for one another lets all begin to show it. Let's treat each other regardless of how different we are from each other with respect and dignity, and start having compassion for our fellowman. We are all one in Christ Jesus!
One Love,
